Dinner Party for Childhood Friends

I was super fortunate to have one of my childhood best friends in town upon my return from Israel.  My friend was visiting with her mother, who was visiting one of her childhood best friends.  It was so much fun to reminisce, and see the way old friends can speak their own language.  They all came over for a lovely dinner of Turkish Red Lentil and Apricot Soup, Whole Wheat bread, Citrus Glazed Carrots, and Brussel Sprouts with Pomegranate and Pistachios.  Here is to making new memories with old friends!  -Amanda
