Spiced Olives

This is as simple as a recipe can be, but dramatically improves the flavor of jarred olives. Simply toss them with a few spices and marinate for as long as possible.  There really isn’t a precise recipe-  season to your taste.  If you have any leftovers, they can be blitzed into a lovely tapenade.  -Amanda


Spiced Olives

1 jar kalamata olives

1/2 teaspoon dried mint

1 lemon, zested

2 teaspoons aleppo pepper

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

salt and pepper


1.  Toss all ingredients.  Let sit at least one hour before serving.
